In this program, he conducted in-depth study of World War II at UT for a semester and studied the Normandy Invasion in France during the summer. He later attended graduate school at Middle Tennessee State University and received a Master of Arts with an emphasis on recent American History. One of Mr. Salo’s primary research interests in military history. He was literally born into Cold War history.
